The new official firmware (1.1.0 Build 250228 Rel.63257n) for the Tapo C225 V2 is being rolled out gradually. If you don't see the update available in your Tapo app yet, please be patient. You will be able to update your camera once the firmware is released to your camera.

I have a C225 and I've been asked to update my firmware yesterday to the one describe in this page by the Tapo app. When I did I lost all notifications related to Baby Crying events.
The camera won't send any more notifications.
I've validate that all notifications are enabled and follow each troubleshooting steps I've found online unsuccessfully.
Is there a way to revert version ?

Hi,
It's difficult to say whether your issue is related to the latest firmware. Please confirm the following information for further analysis.
1. On the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, please confirm which detection types are enabled and what the sensitivity values are.
2. Please send us a picture of the camera's Device Settings > Notifications page.
3. On the camera's Device Settings > Alarm page, please enable it, select Sound in the Alarm Type, select all detection types in the Alarm Event Types, and select All Day in the Alarm Schedule. Then, check if the camera will alarm when detecting events such as motion and baby crying.
4. On the Tapo app, go to the Home tab, tap the Bell icon, tap the Tapo C225, and check if you can receive detection notifications and Baby Crying notifications here when the camera detects events and baby crying.

its definitely something with new firmware, for me it's not detecting cat meows anymore when saved on hub h200 so I don't get notifications about it anymore, I don't have a kid so I can confirm about baby monitoring
on photos same events is with different icons:
cloud one is detected as cat meow:
local hub storage is detected as movement and there is no notification of cat meow anymore and miniature photo is missing:

Can you verify the audio quality on your live feed and recordings with this latest firmware? My audio is just static now and I believe it's preventing the audio detection (dog barks in my case) from working correctly with my c225 (v2).

where do you keep your videos? hub or cam SD card?
for me everything is working well if stored on camera card but if it stored on the h200 hub it's not working (detections icons, events)

Just on the SD Card - everything was fine until this latest firmware update. I had been running beta firmware versions previously which had some issues with notifications that they had managed to fix - it was working very well with the last version I had.
