@Wayne-TP
Regretfully no luck, the problem persists. I was told to:
Ensure I had the camera set to AUTO. It was.
Restart the camera. I did.
Than I also rebooted the camera. Stiil no go.
I notified support.usa@tp-link.com that nothing helped. Now waiting for another solution. Keeping my fingers crossed that they will revert back to the previous firmware, everything was good with that.

I can't understand why users now have to serve as beta testers, while thousands of other users have to wait until the problem is finally resolved.
Please roll out the previous firmware again and let your developers find the bug they created.
Again, this is a security issue.
Many people use your cameras as "surveillance cameras" and not just to have a good looking camera installed.

@Wayne-TP is there any timeline for when a new firmware release will be fully released out of beta to address this issue ? Currently it makes the cameras difficult to manage and not fit for purpose.

@Wayne-TP Já mandei o e-mail com o Mac da minha câmera,mais ainda não recebi o beta pra testar.
Demora muito pra enviar o Beta pra gente testar?

@Wayne-TP we have 3 C310 v2 and none are auto-switching since 1.4.2. Please just re-release 1.4.1 until you have a fix. We are going on holiday and need them to work. The only workaround is to set them all to night mode 24/7 and live with the poor quality.

Will we be contacted when a fix is available or will it be pushed directly to the cameras? Do you have an ETA of when it is expected to be resolved? My cameras are useless at night time now, unless I remember to switch all of them back and forth twice a day!

@RobertTTTT I have set it to auto reboot at 5 am just as it's getting light out, it's solved the issue for now at least

@JK9 Just to note that the auto reboot option works well, I have set mine to auto reboot between 5am and 5.30am as it's just getting light outside and it's working as normal the past 2 days

@JK9 Ours don't switch out of day mode as the light fades so they go black at night. Being stuck in night mode in the day is not as bad because at least it records in monochrome. On that basis I have set them to reboot about 10 pm just after it has gone dark but I'll see tonight if they go back to day mode the next morning.
