Plex BE25 Not Available outside Your Network
Hi All
I have recently upgraded my Boradband to a fibre connection (1000Mbps Up and Down) and while I was at it I replaced my old M5's with BE25s to take advantage of the speeds.
At the recommendation of a friend, I am not using the ISP (LitFibre) provided router, instead the feed is going directly into Deco from the wall with a CAT6e cable.
However, I cannot get Plex to keep a connection to the outside world for remote streaming, I keep getting the message "Not available outside your network. Your server is signed in to Plex, but is not reachable from outside your network"
In the deco app, under "Address Reservation" I have added the PC and confirmed its got the correct IP Address and MAC Adrress.
I then setup "Port Forwarding" for the server as shown in the Plex App
Service Type: Custom
Service Name: PlexServer
Insternal IP: 192.168.68.56
Internal Port 32400
External Port 32400
Protocol: TCP
But the app keeps doing the same thing, kicking me out after a few seconds with the error "Not available outside your network. Your server is signed in to Plex, but is not reachable from outside your network"
Every website I use to check if the port if open using my public IP gives the same error, Port Not Open.
This worked find on my old Virgin Media Router, I forwarded the port and away I went, but with this deco its giving me such a headace.
Ive turned eveything off at this point and turned it all on in a logical way, wall ONT, TP Link Deco and then the PlexServer but still no joy.
Can anyone help?
