If you're looking for an easy way to store videos from multiple cameras and are concerned about losing footage due to theft of the camera's SD card, the new feature of the Tapo Hub might be a great solution. In addition to supporting Tapo SubGHz devices, the Tapo Hub now also allows connection with the Tapo Wi-Fi cameras and doorbells, providing video storage and Wi-Fi backup capabilities.

Tapo hub supports connections with multiple cameras to store videos, now you can switch camera’s video storage path to the Tapo hub, without the need for getting separate microSD cards for each camera. Additionally, the Tapo hub can also function as a WiFi backup AP. When the camera’s Wi-Fi signal is too weak or gets interrupted, the camera can automatically switch to connect to the hub, ensuring uninterrupted operation.

Do you know when there will be a release of a new firmware for Tapo H110 so it can support the migration of IoT devices?

Regards,

Sven

For H110, the IR hub? What is it for? Are you going to add a second IR hub?

Hi Wayne,

The migration was to move one or two of the devices such as sensors to/from a H200 and the app states that the migration is not possible as the H110 firmware does not support it.

I have four H110's for different rooms and wanted to put the closest sensors to the H110 as the H200 is getting fairly full.

Waiting on a H500 to be delivered so likely the issue will not be a problem soon. Hopefully the H500 allows for migrations.

Regards,

Sven

Oh, that's right. I forgot that the H110 is also capable of connecting the sensors. We don't have information about it at the moment. You may keep an eye on the product's firmware release, important updates will be listed in the firmware release note.
