Tapo C210 disconnected
Hello,
I have 2 Tapo C210 connected to the same wifi network and the same plug.
One of them just disconnected while I'm away from home, the other is still connected to the app.
Both are up to date (v1.1.3)
What to do as I can't reboot it from distance.
Thanks in advance !!

Hi,
If the offline camera is plugged into the smart plug, you can reboot the plug to reboot the camera and check if it helps. Otherwise, you can try rebooting your router via its app to see if it helps.

@Solla-topee Hello and thanks for your help.
Unfortunately I can't control the plug from remote so I can't restart the camera. I did reboot the router however and to my surprise both cameras are showed as connected, so I dunno what's wrong at this point. It's clearly still connected to the wifi but just not to the Tapo app anymore... no problem for the other camera

Hi,
You can check if your router has special settings, such as MAC Filtering, firewall settings, and access control rules for the problematic camera. If so, disable them for a try. You can also change the DNS server on your router and check if it helps.
If the problem persists, you may try rebooting, or resetting and reconfiguring the camera, and check if it can be controlled remotely.

The router doesn't seem to be the problem, as the cam used to work for some days before it was suddenly disconnected from the Tapo app (and the other cam connected to the same router is still on).
Also there's no option to reboot the cam from the Tapo app when it's disconnected. No way to delete and add the cam again remotely either (my phone and the cam need to be connected to the same wifi and I'm away from home right now - the time I really need it to work)
I'm stuck with only 1 cam of the 2, while they were both connected when I left.....

Hi,
You can ask a family member to help you reboot or reset the camera if possible. Otherwise, you can try it when you are near the camera; there is no other action we can take when you are away.
