Alexa skills getting disabled

I have a number of these devices in one room which all work via the Tapo app and were all linked quite happily to Alexa.
In the last few days I have noticed they lost their location setting in the Tapo app and all their skills in Alexa have been disabled.
I have tried removing them from Alexa, re-adding them, Disable then Re-enabling them but nothing gets it working with Alexa again.
Where to go from here ?

Regarding this situation, I suggest you contact Alexa support for assistance. There is no problem with the connection between Tapo and Alexa, as the controls through Alexa app and voice command via Alexa app both function correctly. The current situation is that the Alexa devices are not responding to the control commands, their support should have more expertise regarding this matter.

@Wayne-TP While trying via the Alexa app on my phone, it wanted to relink the account, even thought it was linked.
The voice commands work find through the alexa app on my phone, but the various devices I have around my flat all state "Skill linked with 'device' is not enabled".
Alex is was working fine with all these devices previously and is working fine with other things like my HUE lights.
Trying to disable and re-enable has not worked, maybe this is an Alexa issue.

Sorry i'm confused here. Are you trying to say that the control through Alexa app is normal, but the voice control isn't working? Or is it really the other way around -- voice control works but not the app control?

@Wayne-TP I am saying that using the alex app on my phone works.
Using an alexa device does not work.

Touch controls or voice command control? You may want to double-check whether the same Alexa account is logged in on all Alexa devices and whether the TP-Link account is linked to the correct Alexa account.

@Wayne-TP yes, its logged in and linked.
It has been working for a year or two without issue, but suddenly stopped.
Hence I relinked everything.
I know it works with Alex as when I use voice control to the alexa app on my android phone it works.
When I use a Echo Dot for example and issue the same voice command, it does not.
I know they are logged in to the same account as everything else I have linked via different products work.
