have about 12 Hive smart plugs which currently work through Hive app and Alexa. I am replacing my Hive cameras (No longer supported from August 1st) . I have installed a Tapo C520WS camera which is fine but I want to trigger an action if person detected . Example turn on two plugs for say 10 minutes then turn off again. Do I need to replace my Hive smart plugs with Tapo plugs before I can add an action ?

In your Alexa app, you can check if it's possible to set the camera's person announcement as a trigger to activate an action.
