Model: Tapo C310
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Dear TP-Link Team,

I'm a long-time user of your Tapo C310 cameras. Since these devices already broadcast a Wi-Fi network during setup, I believe it should be technically possible for them to act as Wi-Fi hotspots or access points when connected via Ethernet.

This feature would greatly improve flexibility and usefulness, especially in cases where Ethernet is available but Wi-Fi coverage is needed in that area.

I strongly encourage you to consider implementing this as a firmware update.

Best regards.

  @Redirom

Hi,
The default Wi-Fi network from the Tapo camera is used for setup, and it will disappear after the camera is configured successfully. The cameras and access points are completely different types of network products. I appreciate your feedback on our product features; however, there are currently no plans to add the reported feature to our cameras.
Best Regards
