Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have a Archer A7 router and Archer A10 router. I want to use my Archer A10 router as a main router and Archer A7 router as a range extender router. Archer A10 supports EasyMesh. Archer A7 supports OneMesh. However when I am adding satellite router in my Archer A10 router, I am not able to see the OneMesh router A7. How can I add my Archer A7 router as a Satellite router in my A10 router?

Hi@mujjammil ,

Welcome to our community.

It's important to note that OneMesh does not support router-to-router networking. OneMesh only works between a OneMesh router and OneMesh Wi-Fi Extenders/Powerlines. This means that two OneMesh routers or a combination of one EasyMesh and one OneMesh router cannot be used to create a mesh network, and that the OneMesh Wi-Fi Extenders/Powerlines must connect to the OneMesh router directly.

If the Archer A7 is a new router, it is recommended that you can replace it with a device supports EasyMesh: TP-Link EasyMesh Devices for Home

Hi,

Unfortunately, this is not supported. OneMesh routers cannot to be added as a Satellite router.
