Got to of these cameras bought with in a couple of days of each other could somebody tell me why one has pet and viechle detection and the other doesn't. One firmware is 1.1.4 the other 1.1.6.

Please go to the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Device Info page to check the camera's model number and hardware version.
1) If your cameras have the same model number and hardware version, it may be that the new firmware(1.1.6) adds new detection types (such as pet and vehicle detection). It's recommended to update your camera's firmware if it's not the latest one.

2) If your camera's model number or hardware version is different, you can go to our official website > search for the camera's model number > go to the Overview page > select the hardware version > and go to the Specifications page to see the detection types the camera supports.
