Hello,

it has happened twice now that we hear voice coming from our tapo C310 camera. The first time my sister in law was outside with the kids and heard a mans voice go "Mommy Mommy" through the camera, and today my brother heard a voice say "Hello" through the camera.

Is there a way to confirm if there has been a breach to my Tapo account or what can i do in this situation?

  @KB249

EXACT same thing has happened to me over the past 2 weeks. Two times now I heard a "Hello" from my camera. The first time I thought I was hearing things. The second time, I was standing right in front of it and someone said hello to me. I use long randomly generated usernames and passwords for all my accounts and I don't share the cameras with anyone, so it's extremely unlikely it was a hack from my end.

- I have no suspicious login activity inside the Tapo app

- I have camera account enabled for access away from home

- I had third party compatibility ON for the first Hello, but I turned it off as I was suspicious. The second Hello was with third party compatibility disabled

Pretty much the only way someone said hello was if TPLink themselves have been breached and many people are able to see and access our cameras...
