The camera is detecting person even we are not at home...nothing is in front of camera., then why it is detecting the persons

Hi,
You can refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot if the camera's detection feature is not working well.
What to do if the Detection feature is not working on the TP-Link Camera?
 

If the reported phenomenon remains, please confirm the following information for further analysis.


  1. Have you subscribed to the Tapo Care service or inserted an SD card into the camera to store video recordings? If not, could you please insert an SD card into the camera to store video recordings?


  2. Please go to the camera's Device Settings > Detection page in the Tapo app, check what detection types are enabled, and what the sensitivity value is.


  3. Refer to the following instructions to configure the storage settings on the camera.
      How can I store the Tapo camera video recordings on a microSD card 


  4. When you receive a person-detected notification but no one is in front of the camera, please find the corresponding video clip on the SD card in the camera's Playback > SD card page, then download it and send it to us for analysis. 
You can upload the video to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.
