Turning on/off camera C260 via smartthings
I am using smartthings to control my smarthome. We just bought the C260 to add it in my system. I have 2 routines set up for leaving the house/coming home.
The plan was to add the camera in those routines so that the camera starts when leaving the house (while light, music,... is turned off) and reverse when coming home. I don't wanna use 2 apps all the time.
It seems like the camera can not be turned on/off via smartthings - not in routines or manual. Am I just too stupid?
We also tried to work around via Google home/Alexa but rhis didn't work too.
If there is really no option to turn on/off the camera via smartthings is it planned to add this (quite essential) feature soon?

The Tapo C260 can't be powered on/off through the Tapo app or other third-party apps. However, it has the Privacy Mode feature, and you can enable/disable this feature via the Tapo app, rather than via Google Home/Alexa/SmartThings.
For the usage scenario you want to achieve, I recommend using the Automation + Geofencing feature in the Tapo app.

Thank you for the quick replay. Sorry I got lost in translation. With "turning on/off the camera" I was actually taking about activating/deactivating the privacy mode of the camera. I'd like to change that via smartthings.
Our previous camera from the other company had also the automatication feature which did not work with smartthings at all. Only seeing the tapo camera in smartthings and getting alerts is not much improvement. I can set a trigger in smartthings that something happens when the camera sees something so why not adding "automatication started" or "privacy mode changed" as trigger for smartthings too? Or the automatication in tapo starts when getting triggered by smartthings/third party app. This would help a lot.
