Model: Tapo C210
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

My C210 camera stopped working. I have tried resetting it and everything

according to other threads and instructions.

For example, unplugging for a long time, and then plugging power the power.

Holding down the reset button for 5-10-15 seconds. No change.

No matter what I do, when power is plugged in all the camera does (immediately)

is repeating the clicking sound (it is the same sound that it does when switching

to night mode), and the infrared lights (?) are visible (in red).

So is there really any way to fix this (without breaking the guarantee) or

should I just send it back for replacement (since it is within the guarantee

period)?

Hi,
Please try the following steps for the reported phenomenon.

  1. Turn off the camera, remove the inserted SD card, and turn it back on with the original power adapter that comes with the camera in the box.
  2. Press and hold the reset button on the camera for 10 seconds to factory reset it.
  3. If the camera does not respond to the reset operation, you can contact your retailer or the local support to check if your camera is under warranty.

Best Regards
