Tapo C210 Motion Tracking Turns Off Automatically
l'm using a Tapo C210 smart Wi-Fi camera, and I'm facing an issue with motion tracking. When enable the motion tracking feature, it automatically gets turned off after a while. Troubleshooting Steps Tried:
Rebooted the camera.
Checked settings in the Tapo app.
Verified firmware is up to date.
Tried resetting and configuring again. Despite these steps, the issue persists, and as a result, most of the motion detections are not being captured because the tracking keeps turning off.
Question:
How can fix this issue so that motion tracking stays enabled continuously? Is this a known bug, or is there any additional setting I need to check?

Hi,
Please refer to the instructions to check if your camera is included in the Home/Away mode settings. If so, check if the motion tracking feature is disabled and whether you applied the home/away mode settings to your camera before noticing that the motion tracking feature turned off.

Hi,
1. Please go to the Tapo app > Smart tab to check if there are any automation entries to turn off the camera's motion tracking feature. If so, disable or remove the entries for a try.
2. Have you changed any settings before the motion tracking feature turns off? Such as changing the motion sensitivity value.
3. What's the model number and OS version of your phone? Please ensure the Tapo app is up to date.

2. I haven’t changed any settings before the issue occurs. All values, including motion sensitivity, are still set to their default settings.
3. The camera model is Tapo C210, and my phone is running on Android version 16. The Tapo app is updated to the latest version available on the Play Store.
