Voice call/Talk feature not working
Why has the voice and talk feature stopped working? It was working when I installed the camera. I have rebooted the camera, reinstalled the app and yet no luck.

Thank you for your testing and feedback. Based on the results, it seems that certain settings on the original mobile phone may be preventing the camera from receiving audio during Talk/Voice Call. You can check the following settings on your phone and see if they are helpful.
1) If the Tapo app has microphone permissions enabled on the original phone.
2) If any other audio devices are connected to your phone, disconnect them and test again.
3) Disabling battery optimization on your phone to ensure proper performance.
4) Make sure that both the phone and camera are connected to the same network, or try switching to a different Wi-Fi network for testing.
If the above tips do not work, you may contact your phone support for further assistance or use a different phone to manage the camera.

Hi,
How do you confirm the Voice Call/Talk feature does not work? For example, an error message appears when you use the Voice Call/Talk feature on the camera's live view page, or you can't hear the sound from the camera, or the person on the camera side can't hear you when you talk to the Tapo app, etc.
Please describe the phenomenon you experience in detail for further assistance.

So the person on the camera side can't hear me when I talk using the Tapo app (hold to talk and the call features).
I checked the camera speakers, they are working fine when I use the alarm on function. Also, all the permissions required for the app to function are allowed on my phone. I can even see the green mic on my android phone when I use the voice functions on the Tapo App. The volume of microphone and the speaker volume are also full.
It worked fine when I installed it. Even after updating the firmware. Suddenly it stopped functioning. Everything else works fine. I can see and hear from the camera on the phone.

Hi,
Please check if your phone's volume is set to a proper level, and try installing the Tapo app on a different phone if you have one. Then, test if the person on the camera side can hear you when you talk using the Tapo app.
