The Cam audio stopped working. I cannot hear anything from the tapo application.

Hi,
Please try the following steps if you can't hear anything in the Tapo app.
  1. Ensure both the Tapo app and camera firmware are up-to-date.
  2. Maximize microphone volume in the camera live view:
       a. Tap the microphone icon to adjust volume.
       b. Enable Talk/Two-way Audio, volume control is in the top-right of the feature card.
  3. Check for dirt on the microphone hole and clean it gently.
  4. Position the camera to allow clear sound input/output.
  5. Confirm your phone isn't on silent mode and media volume is turned up.
  6. Press and hold the reset button on the camera for 10 seconds to perform a factory reset. Then configure the camera to make it work again.

 

By the way, please check if you can hear the sound on the camera side when someone talks to the Tapo app when using the Talk/Voice Call feature.
