Model: Tapo D230S1
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.0

Hello,

it seems that some id10t mistook the sensor window for the bell button.

Is there any way to repair it, or I must buy a replacement doorbell?

    Thanks.

Hi,
As you can see in the UG of the Tapo D230S1, the Ring button of the doorbell camera is shown in the figure below.

If the sensor of the D230 has sustained hardware damage due to excessive handling, you may contact the local support team to see if they can provide further assistance.

(Please note that hardware issues caused by improper use are generally not covered under warranty.)

By the way, you can upload the pictures to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.

Best Regards

Hello.
I tried uploading a couple of photos, but it did now work.

Are there size limitations for the photos?
