New H500 Hub HDD issues
Hi all
Ok After updating my Old Hub to the new one the transisioning from one to the other seemed pretty good however ive had a few issues when the recordings from my camera and doorbell cant be accesssed. when ive come hoem to look at the problem the HDD is so hot its unbelievable, Ive gone through 2 1TB hard drives now in it and it seems like the H500 is cooking them. Ive now tried another SSD to see what happens with that. Yes the ones i used before were old 2.5" laptop hard drives but they shouldnt be failing like they are. I was hoping upgrading to the new hub would give me some stability regards recordings but so far ive had issues. can anyone help?

I also have an overheating issue with an SSD in my H500. Its a 250GB Pny SSD, which worked ok for a few days. Then I started getting problems replaying recordings, then the SSD disappeared from the settings. I removed the drive and it was literally too hot to touch. I assume the overheating caused the drive to become unresponsive. Is this someting that can be fixed in software, or are we looking at a hardware design issue. Grateful for any advice.

OK still having problems with SSD not recording - my doorbell has stopped recording for no reason on several occations now when it would record for a few days then for no reason starts recording again? ive now set up another flood light camera to see if that does the same (all 3 cameras (doorbell and 2 flood lights) are set up to continussly record) but its not affected the the flood light camera yet
Ive invested alot of time and money into this new Tapo system alonfg with a new TP-Link router and extender but there seems to be so many little issues with the whole system
