night vision color pro not work tapo C325WB v.2
night vision color pro not work tapo C325WB v.2

I bought two Tapo C325WB cameras for color night vision. I configured the first one with version 1 and 1.3.7 firmware and is ok, while the other was with version 2 with 1.1.5 firmware..this have automatically activates the infrared there's no way to disable it. When I reboot the camera on the second attempt, the infrared turns off and the camera sees in color for a few moment. There seems to be a configuration issue since the two cameras also have different setting, spotlights off is not available with a problematic camera, i have try reset but not work and the firmware not change

If I change the position of the V2 camera to the V1 camera, nothing changes, and I always see black and white mode. When I restart the camera it sometimes tries to activate Pro Color, but after a few seconds it reverts to black and white because there's a forced setting for this mode and it seems to be a conflict, the problem isn't the position but the different settings menu. The V1 camera has the "Spotlights Off" option, while the V2 camera doesn't have this option but instead "Color Mode with Spotlights On" and there's no way to disable it. As another user with the same model has already pointed out
and this would appear to be false advertising if you are using the V2 version.
To fix this, just add the option to choose whether to stay in Pro Color "spotlights on" or "spotlights off" and I'll be able to decide what's best for me. There's no point in returning the Tapo camera if you release an update soon to fix this issue. I hope you understand.

Hi,
Thank you once again for your feedback and support. We agree that your request to add the "Spotlights Off" feature is very reasonable, especially considering the satisfactory performance of Tapo C325 V1 in your environment. We have officially submitted this request to the relevant department, and it has been evaluated and approved for inclusion in future firmware updates. However, we cannot provide a specific timeline for when this feature will be available. It could be implemented in 2-3 months or may take longer.
Please note that the timeline provided for implementing this feature is based on our current understanding, and we cannot guarantee that the firmware containing this feature optimization will be released within the expected timeframe. For specific release information regarding our Tapo camera firmware, please refer to our official website.
If you are expecting the official firmware support for the requested feature to be released within a very short timeframe (such as one or two weeks), please consider returning the product or not, as it is unlikely that this will be achievable.
Best Regards

@Solla-topee hi I have the same problem with owning a v1 already. Loved the colorpro technology to see my street with enough artificial light from the streetlights/other houses. I also don't want the spotlights on to not draw attention to where this camera is. So it was perfect.
I brought a 2nd one today. It's v2. Was gonna use it to cover a different angle/same scene/lighting. Maybe see my actual yard better with the color. (First one was 90% to see the road outside/anyone coming near my property) it's not mounted in the location yet, (a C310 is there doing IR atm) but I left it outside in low light at night now. I can't make it get off IR & not have spotlights on.
edit: so yeah just wanted to say that & show that more people want a toggle to specific choose color & spotlights off. I am available if you need another similar situation to beta test a future firmware fix/show footage etc
