C310 stopped connecting to Deco Mesh WiFi network.
Magically, a Tapo C310 I have just stopped connecting to my mesh network. This camera had been connected to this very same network for nearly two years. I have tried EVERYTHING to get this camera connected back to my network! However, nothing will get it to connect back to the TP Link Mesh Network I have.
I have tried:
Making the Deco network ONLY broadcast 2.4ghz
Factory resetting the camera then trying to join the network again.
Moving a node physically closer to the camera to verify it has plenty of connectivity. Even though there is a Meross Garage door opener located about 6 feet directly below the camera and a EUFY camera mounted about 12 inches away from it, neither with any connectivity issues.
The ONLY thing I can do to get the camera to work is using an entirely different router with the EXACT same SSID and Credentials. I can see all of my other network devices join as well as the C310.
I have something like 42 IoT items connected to my network, so changing my password or SSID is not an option. Besides, I've proven those aren't an issue by using a different router with the exact same data. Someone please help me understand why this camera specifically won't connect to my network when using my TP-Link Mesh setup that it had previously been working before I decide to trash both the camera and the routers and never look at another TP-Link product again.....
Tapo C310
I don't know the hardware version. If I take the effort of unmounting this camera to find that information, its going straight to the recycle center
Firmware: 1.4.3 Build 250610 Rel.54956n

@Solla-topee thank you for your reponse. As indicated in my post, I have done pretty much every one of these steps in the troubleshooting article...
If only certain clients cannot connect to your Deco's Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
1. Activate a security-free guest network that uses only the 2.4 GHz band and see if the device can connect to the network.
I created an IoT Network that only broadcast 2.4ghz. ALL of my IoT and Smarthome products connected to that network aside from the Tapo C310. I also used a router from different company, I created a WiFi network using the same SSID and Password. Not only did all of my other devices connect to that network but so did the Tapo C310.
2. Make sure you're trying to connect to the right network and that you're using the right password.
I did this in several ways and verified by all of my other devices connecting to the network.
3. Make sure that the SSID and Wi-Fi password do not contain special characters, such as B. Apostrophe or other characters mentioned here: Special characters are not suitable as Wi-Fi name and password
All of my other devices connect to these networks. And using the same SSID and password on a different company's router, the C310 connects.
4. Change the wireless security of your network to WPA2 (some devices have difficulties with newer standards such as WPA 3 or may not be compatible at all)
My Deco system only allows for WPA2.
5. Make sure that the device is not listed in the "block list" in the Deco app under: More > Block list.
I have no devices listed under the Block List
6. Disable the "Beamforming" and "Fast Roaming" functions (not all Deco's support the beamforming function, so the setting may not be displayed)
I have disabled Beamforming and Fast Roaming, rebooted the network, C310 still does not connect.

Hi,
After you factory reset the Tapo C310 and reconfigure it to connect to the Deco's Wi-Fi, what error message appears in the Tapo app when it fails to connect to the Deco's Wi-Fi?
Please try again by using a router from a different company, creating a WiFi network with the same SSID and Password as the Deco, then reset the camera and reconfigure it. Once the camera is set up successfully, turn off the router, move the camera close to the Deco units, reboot the camera, and check if it will automatically reconnect to the Deco's Wi-Fi.

@Solla-topee I've already done this. It still will not connect to the Deco network. It gets to the "Pairing the Device" stage of the setup then times out and the next screen says it can not connect to to the WiFi network.

Hi,
1. If you try the following steps, there is no need to reconfigure the camera in the Tapo app to connect it to the Deco network. Since the camera is able to connect the Wi-Fi network from another router, when the Deco has the same SSID and password, the camera may be able to connect automatically.
"Please try again by using a router from a different company, creating a WiFi network with the same SSID and Password as the Deco, then reset the camera and reconfigure it. Once the camera is set up successfully, turn off the router, move the camera close to the Deco units, reboot the camera, and check if it will automatically reconnect to the Deco's Wi-Fi."
2. If the camera still can't connect to the Deco's network, please refer to the following instructions to collect the camera log for further analysis.

@Solla-topee I collected logs. I plugged the 3rd party router in. Then unplugged it, plugged it back in, and unplugged one last time.
However, I can't upload the document. In its orignial format, it says its and Invalid File type. I have appeneded the name with .txt and now I just keeping getting an "failed up to upload" message. I have even broken file in to smaller .txt files under 3mb a piece and they will not upload.

@Solla-topee I have the same issue with my C310 and Deco P9.!
I tried all the steps mentioned here and over the community for both Deco and the camera but nothing works!
I have an old fritzbox router that i tried with and the camera works just fine with its wifi!

Hi,
Please confirm the following information for the reported phenomenon.
1. What are the hardware and firmware versions of the Tapo C310 and Deco P9? Or you can send me (@Solla-topee) the camera and Deco's MAC addresses via a private message.
2. What error message appears in the Tapo app when you configure the Tapo C310 to connect to the Deco's Wi-Fi?
3. Would you please send us a picture of the area monitored by the camera? You can use your phone to take a photo, upload the image to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me via a private message.
Best Regards
