I have just installed an H500 hub but it will not connect to my existing cameras, it finds them ok, but says firmware not up todate . Yet all cameras report that their firmware is up to date. My cameras are TC70 V2, C310 V1, C500 V2 (just purchased!) To only device that connected ok is my doorbell D245 v1.

How or can I update my cameras to be accepted by the hub. Otherwise I feel this has been a bit of a wasted purchase.

Tapo TC70 V2 and C310 V1 are not compatible with Tapo hub, you may this list to learn more. Tapo Smart Hub Compatible Camera List

 

As for the C500 V2, be aware that this camera has to be set up first, before it can be linked with a Tapo hub to enable storage and WiFi backup feature. And the camera should be on the same network as the hub. How to connect Tapo Wi-Fi Cameras/doorbells with Tapo Hub

 

What's the firmware version of your C500 V2? What error did you see? Please share a screenshot here.

Sorry, just seen your reply. Seems my camera are not compatible, which is a shame as i have to continue using the cloud storage. Making the c500 surplus to requirements .
