Tapo C110 faulty
I purchased a Tapo C110 on July 25 and everything has been working fine until yesterday. I'd notice every time I walk into the camera frame I'd clear a "click" sound and the camera would flash red. After a few seconds it'll return to normal. At first I thought it was the camera adjusting between night/day but later I noticed the frequency of it so I did a reboot. I also went back to check the recording of each time it happened, I'd noticed the screen would turn pinkish purple.
Here are all the troubleshooting I've done:
- Camera Reboot via App
- Unplugging and plugging it back to restart
- Formatting SD card
- checked the network (-51(TSSI))
- checked WiFi (signal & strength no issue)
- hard reset by pressing the reset button on the camera, re-adding it to the app.
After doing all of the above, it is still dropping.
please advise what to do, or if I should request a new camera as I'm still within warranty.
My Tapo C110 specs;
- Firmware 1.1.2 (latest)
- hardware v3
