Hello, I tried to start the 30 days trial version for Tapo Care. After putting in my payment details (Paypal) I started "Care" and immediately cancelled to not exceed the 30 days of trial.

I was shocked to realize the abo forces me to have it for another 365 days and getting no refund for the 29,99 EUR paid

It sounds like a scam agreeing to the trial version and getting charged immediately.

Please check, clarify and let me know how I can get a refund of the service I won't use and got in the abo by accident.

Typically, you can refer to Q3 and Q4 in the following instructions to know how to enable and cancel the Tapo Care free trial.

In your situation, you may not use the Tapo Care free trial service, but subscribe to the Tapo Care service. It's recommended to contact tapocare@tp-link.com if you have questions about your subscription.
