Model: TC85   Tapo D205
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.25 & 1.2.0

Hi,

So i have the TC85 outdoor camera and also the D205 doorbell. both seem to be set in the right places and pick up movement etc great during the day.

However at night time nothing at all.  the TC85 i have tried with Night colour mode and infrared & no movement gets picked up once it is dark.

WE know there is movement as we also use a Blink outdoor camera and that picks up movements of the local cats and also Foxes up and down the drive.

i bought the cameras as the blink is not great with its recorded view at night and saw great reviews on the doorbell and camera's night time recording ability. so at the moment really dissapointed that we are getting nothing at all during the night.

Is there excessive glare or exposure in the camera feed, or are there intense light sources in certain areas that make the image unclear?  Or is the movement of the target object not easily noticeable? For example, a mouse quickly running by, or animals appearing in the grass or darker corners. Such activities are likely to be recognized as false events, which won't trigger camera's detection and recording feature.

You may share a picture of the camera image here, or send it to me privately through a message, i can help to check it. *Upload the picture to your personal cloud drive then send me the link to view it.
