Model: Tapo C425 KIT
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.6 Build 250401 rel40065n

My new (<2 months) C425 went offline and it will not restart or reset.  Have tried numerous times to power off and reboot, and nothing happens.  The amber light is rapidly blinking.

Hi,
Please try the following steps and check if they help.

  1. If the camera is connected to a power adapter, please ensure the camera is powered by the original power adapter that comes with it in the box. Disconnect the solar panel if it's connected.
  2. Press and hold the reset button on the camera for 10 seconds to perform a factory reset. Wait for two minutes, and check the LED status.
  3. If the LED is flashing red and green, you can try to set up the camera in the Tapo app.
If the LED has no change during the reset process (the camera does not respond to the reset operation), please contact your retailer or our local support to check if the camera is under warranty.

Best Regards
