Thank you for sending the beta firmware.

 

I have updated and tested it, but unfortunately it did not resolve the issue in my environment.

 

I do not currently have physical access to the affected cameras, so I will try some other troubleshooting steps and continue monitoring the situation.

If the beta firmware didn’t help, it’s very likely you’re experiencing a different issue from the one described in this thread (caused by a different reason).

 

For further assistance, I recommend creating a new post specifically for your case and include all the relevant details.

Hello everyone! The official firmware for Tapo H200 that addresses the issue discussed in this post has started rolling out, version 1.7.1 Build 20260515 rel.61602.

 

Please note: New firmware is typically released using a gradual rollout (phased release). This means the update is first sent to a small percentage of devices, and the rollout percentage is gradually increased over time until it reaches all devices.

 

Therefore, if your device isn’t detecting the new version yet, that’s completely normal. The rollout will continue to expand, so please be patient.

  @Wayne-TP hi I am looking for a bit of help I my door bells camera has stopped working I dont get any notifications and all notifications are on it used to ring when someone pressed the button but now i am getting nothing thank

Description

Some users may experience interruptions in live video feed or playback of recorded videos for Tapo cameras or doorbells connected to a Tapo H200 hub. The app may repeatedly prompt to “Tap to Refresh” without successfully loading the stream.

 

In certain instances, the detection function on the affected device may also be temporarily inactive.

 

 

Solution

Fixed in a firmware release: Tapo H200 - Firmware version 1.7.1 Build 20260515 rel.61602.

 

 

Note: New firmware is typically released using a gradual rollout (phased release). Workaround

The R&D team has developed new firmware to address this issue. Before the official release, beta firmware is available for testing. 

 

 

How to Apply Beta Firmware

1. Find the Mac address of your Tapo H200Open the Tapo app and navigate to the smart hub's Device Settings page > Device Info.

2. Send a private message to @Wayne-TP with the format below:

[Forum 845832] + Mac address of your Tapo H200

 

**For users from the United States, send your request to forumsupport.usa@tp-link.com with:

1. A brief summary of the product issue you encountered, along with your request for beta firmware. *You may also include a link to this community post for the support team’s reference.

2. The Mac address of your Tapo H200.

 

Before the Upgrade

(1) Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
(2) 
How to update firmware of Tapo smart devices
(3) Firmware downgrade is not supported. When a new official version is released, updating it will overwrite the beta version.
