What Extension Cord For Outdoor C310?
I have several C310s which are working well. I want to add a couple outdoors, but the placement I want means I'll need some sort of extension cord.
I can either use a 3 meter DC cord or an AC cord of similar length. Using the AC cord would mean that the power supplies would be outside, but away from the rain.
I'd prefer the DC cord, but worry about voltage drop in a DC cable that long.
Which would be best?

Hi,
Typically, we suggest powering the camera with the original power adapter and cord. We can't guarantee the camera will work properly with an extension cable. You can check if the cameras can be placed in different locations with power outlets.

It's not possible to move the camera closer to an outlet. It will be replacing the USB camera that takes an image like the one above very 2 minutes. I was able to order the USB camer with an extra long cord. Can I order C310 cameras with a three or four meter cord? If not, it's either an extension cord or just leave the USB camera as is.

Hi,
According to the Tapo C310 V2's datasheet, its power cord length is 3m. If you already have several Tapo C310, you may move one Tapo C310 to the location you want to place the new camera, and then check if the original power adapter and cord can power it.
We do not sell extension power cords and power adapters separately.
