I've recently installed 3 C425 cameras and I'm having issues with the Home/Away mode. I've added all 3 cameras to both modes and setup custom settings in all cameras to make sure detection, alarm and notifications are turned on in home mode and vice versa for away mode. The problem is that when I toggle the Home Mode sometimes these settings are not replicated in the cameras even though I get the popup saying that are cameras where updated successfully in the app (I'm using IOS app). And sometimes they do replicate but for some reason the camera resets settings randomly. Any clue?

Hi,  
Generally, if the Tapo app prompts that the home mode setting has been successfully updated for your camera, it means the settings have indeed been applied. After receiving this prompt, we recommend going to the camera's Device Settings page immediately to verify that the Detection, Alarm, and Notification settings have been updated.

 

How many phones are currently logged into your TP-Link account to manage the camera? If there are changes to the camera settings, they could be modified by other phones rather than the camera automatically changing them. We suggest changing your account password to log out of your account on all other phones, then check whether the camera's settings remain unchanged.
What can I do if I forget my password of the cloud account

  @Solla-topee problem persists even after changing password just in case (even though I was 100% sure I was not logged in in any other phone).

In your situation, please try to reproduce the reported phenomenon in the Tapo app, then refer to the instructions below to collect the app log.
