I have a detection zone that reaches the pavement, with tracking enabled, the camera tracks each person that walks past, following them.. this includes a neighbour walking into their home, even though I have this area set with a privacy screen, but because a person triggers the tracking outside the screen, it follows them to their house and makes the privacy screen obsolete. I want to keep this detection zone due to monitoring parked car on the road, but I would only like to trigger tacking once a person has been detected on my drive. This would require a secondary zone specifically for enabling tracking. First detection zone would trigger an alert but with tracking disabled, second zone, withing the detection zone would trigger tracking once enabled.

Hi,
For your specific use case, you might try setting different detection zones for different detection types, and then configuring Auto Tracking to track only people. For example, in Vehicle detection, the detection zone can reach the pavement to monitor vehicles parked on the road. For Person Detection, the detection zone covers only your driveway; only when someone enters it will they be detected and tracked.

@Solla-topee Hi, I don't actually want to detect vehicles, I want to detect people around the vehicles so that's why your idea doesn't work. I have all other detection off apart from person detection. Thanks for your suggestion though.
