Sunday
Model: Tapo C320WS
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.4.2

After the firmware update of 1.4.2., two of my cameras started showing amber light out of total 4 cameras.

I switched them off and they started working fine.

But after several days, again same problem of showing amber light and then again switched off and on.

But after that camera seems to be hanged up or malfunction and led comes up amber sometimes or red sometimes and keeps on cracking noise .

I have reset it for 5 seconds. 15 seconds and even for a minute.

Now what to do..

Any more deeper reset available.

These 2 cameras are offline in app.

Hi,
You can try the following steps and see if they help.

  1. Remove the cameras from the Tapo app.
  2. Turn off your camera, and remove the SD card from it if there is one. Turn the camera back on with the original power adapter and cord.
  3. Wait for two minutes, press and hold the reset button on the camera for 10 seconds to perform a factory reset. Then, check the LED status on the camera.
  4. If the LED is flashing red and green, you can try to reconfigure the camera in the Tapo app: How to set up the Tapo camera
  5. If the camera's LED does not change and the camera does not respond to the reset operation, you can contact your retailer or the local support team to check if the camera is under warranty.

Best Regards
