Unable to connect new camera to bluetooth when trying to add camera
I am trying to add a brand new C530WS camera in the Tapo app and it always fails to find the camera using bluetooth. I have reset the camera and tried 2 different phones (android) as well as ipad with the same result. I can see the Wi-fi network from the camera and can connect to that but the app does not seem to recognize that connection either.
Not sure what else to try at this point.

@Solla-topee I discovered the issue, the camera I was trying to connect was actually a different model. The box showed the correct model but the camera inside did not match the box model or serial number. I have returned this camera.
I bought 2 others at the same time and they were correct and I was able to connect them without any issues.
Thanks for the suggestions but not needed now.

Hi,
You can try the following steps and check if they help.
1. Please press the reset button on the camera for 10 seconds to perform a factory reset. Wait for two minutes until the camera has a flashing red and green light.
2. Try to configure the camera, and if you get stuck on the same step, please go to your phone's Settings > Wi-Fi page, connect to the camera's default SSID, check the IP address(send it to us if the camera is not configured), then go back to the Tapo app and search for the camera again.
3. Turn off the VPN program on your phone if it is running.
4. Try moving the camera to a different location and configure it again.
