Model: Archer AX3000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.2 Build 20241118 rel.63038(4A50)

I have a home server that I would like to expose to the Internet. Due to how my internet plan, I have to set the router's internet connection type to 'v6plus'. After which, I can neither use NAT port forwarding, nor find any way to allow direction connection to my home server using IPv6.

I'd be much appreciated if you guys can share if you have encountered this issue before, and how you solved it (if you did). Thank you very much in advanced.

@terziyski Thank you very much for your response. I followed the thread you mentioned and successfully found a way to allow inbound IPv6 traffic through the router. I've documented the whole process in the gist below in case someone needs it.

@terziyski Thank you for your response. I've double checked the Advanced > IPv6 section, but it doesn't seem like Firewall Rules is available. I have confirmed that I have the latest firmware available.

Hello @AndyLai ,

At present, the connection types of IPv6 mainly include PPPoE, Dynamic IP (SLAAC/DHCPv6), Pass-Through (Bridge), and Static IP.
So far, no news of supporting the firmware version of Archer AX3000 v6 plus has been received.

v6plus has regional characteristics. Have you consulted local support to see if there is relevant firmware?

For IPv6 configuration, please refer to How to set up an IPv6 Internet connection on the TP-Link Wi-Fi Routers?
