C200 connected to wifi, configured and paired but shows offline
C200 successfully connects to home wifi, strong signal, is paired and configured successfully, works for 20-30 seconds after that and goes to Tap to refresh and ultimately showing offline. Trying from 2 different phones, all on the same wifi, same result. The camera connects again for 20 -39 seconds after a router reboot and then goes again. App is up to date, router settings as recommended, channel 11, no firewall, DNS set to 8.8.8.8, etc.

I receive motion detection notifications and then the camera works again for 20-30 seconds before reverting to Tap to refresh/offline.

Hi,
Please confirm the following information for the reported phenomenon.
1. What's the model number of your router? Do you have a stable and fast connection from your router?
2. What's the LED status on the camera when it shows offline in the Tapo app? Can you recover the online state by rebooting the camera?
3. When did you buy the camera? Did it work before?
4. Please enable a hotspot Wi-Fi on your phone, factory reset the camera by pressing the reset button for 10 seconds, configure it with another phone, connect it to the hotspot Wi-Fi, and then check if the camera works fine.
Best Regards

1. Nokia G-1426G-A, very stable fibre optic to premises connection at 600Mbps
2. Green. The camera shows in the list of devices connected to the router but shows offline. Rebooting the camera usually doesn't make any difference, a few times managed to get it online for the 20-30 seconds before it drops the session.
3. The camera was bought 6 years ago and works absolutely fine.
4. This workaround works but is not viable long-term.

Hi,
If the camera works fine when connecting to the phone's hotspot Wi-Fi, it means the camera is working. It may be that your router network limits the camera from working properly.
Please ensure your router does not have any special settings, such as access control, VLANs, or parental controls. Then, test with a different router if possible.
