Hello,

I have an issue with my C210 camera. It goes offline randomly every 10–15 days and does not come back online by itself. I have to power it off and on to make it work again.

This is a new issue that did not exist before the firmware update. I bought the camera 4 months ago.

If there is no solution for this problem, can I return the camera and get a refund?

Hi, 
You can enable the Auto Reboot feature in the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Reboot Camera page, then check whether it helps.

 

Please confirm the following information if the same phenomenon persists.
  1. On the camera's Device Settings > Device Info page, please tap the Wi-Fi icon and check the RSSI value.
  2. What's the LED status on the camera when it's offline in the Tapo app, such as solid red, flashing red, etc.?
  3. What's the model number of your router? When the camera is offline in the Tapo app, do you have internet on your phone when connecting to the same router's Wi-Fi as the camera?

 

Typically, if it's confirmed that the camera has a problem after troubleshooting, we suggest contacting your retailer or the local support team to see if you can get a replacement.
