Add "Is NOT Detecting" Condition to Smart Actions for Multi-Camera Coordination
The Problem:
I use multiple Tapo cameras and have set up an automation where Camera A (fixed) triggers Camera B (Pan/Tilt) to move to a specific "Point of Interest" (Preset) when Camera A detects a person.
However, the current automation is "blind" to Camera B's status. If Camera B is already busy tracking a person in its own field of view, it will stop and pivot away to look at Camera A's trigger area. This creates a security gap where the camera abandons an active event.
Proposed Functionality:
We need a new Condition (IF) in the Smart Action menu: "Camera is [Detecting / Not Detecting] [Motion/Person/Vehicle]."
Use Case 1 (The Pivot):
WHEN: Camera A detects a person.
IF: Camera B is NOT detecting a person.
THEN: Camera B moves to Preset 1.
Use Case 2 (The Return):
WHEN: Motion ends on Camera A.
IF: Camera B is NOT detecting a person.
THEN: Camera B returns to Default View.
This logic ensures that Pan/Tilt cameras only coordinate with other devices when they are "idle," preventing them from being distracted while they are already performing their primary security function.
