I do have two c310 cameras unfortunately two different hw versions v1 and v2. I wished to use them with my home assistant. But they both behave differently. V1 doesn't expose person detection sensor while v2 does. Both exposing movement sensors but it seams that v2 sending event start and stop but v1 sending only event start.
It makes camera with v1 hardware useless with home assistant.

As you can see on our official website > Tapo C310 V1 and V2's specifications page, the Tapo C310 V1 supports Motion Detection only, while the V2 supports more detection types. Therefore, the V1 does not expose the person detection sensor when used with Home Assistant.
Regarding the situation that the Tapo C310 V1 does not send a motion event stop, I'll log the feature request and forward it to the relevant team for evaluation to improve the camera's performance. However, please note that TP-Link does not officially advertise support for Home Assistant; it is unable to guarantee that the cameras will work properly with it. You can also contact the Home Assistant support team for suggestions if you encounter issues while working with Home Assistant.
