I have an S112 device linked to my Alexa and Google Home apps which I can turn on/off, but I can't use it as a trigger for automations.

I want to configre the S112 to work in wireless switch mode to turn on/off the light of an intelligent ceiling fan when I actuacte the physical switch, without ever cutting power to the fan. The S112 allows the wireless switch mode configuration and I can setup automations using it as a trigger in the Tapo app, but I need to setup these automations in Alexa or Google Home as my ceiling fan is not a Tapo device. This seems to be possible in SmartThings app, but my fan is also not compatible with SmartThings, so I need full compatibility with Alexa and Google Home.
