Maximum number of devices connected
I have 4 cameras that save videos on my smart hub.
In the last week or two it's stopped saving recordings for one camera and when I go the the "local recordings" page and try to (re-)select the hub it says "Maximum number of connected devices reached".
I've rebooted the hub and camera with no effect.
If I change another camera to save to its local memory, then I can connect the failing camera to the hub but I then can't reconnect the other camera, so it appears that 3 is the limit.
What's going on here? It WAS ok, and 3 devices surely can't be a new limit

Please ensure no VPN is enabled on your phone while using the Tapo app. Try to use another phone, test whether the same thing still occurs.
Reinstalling the app might also help.
Lastly, you may try to reset the hub and reconnect the cameras. If the problem persists, this matter requires further investigation.
*Please back up any important videos before resetting the hub.

@SugarBaby hi. Yes I know that but none of my cameras do continuous recording, and I only have 4 cameras anyway...

@Wayne-TP No sensors, just the cameras, one of which is actually a doorbell.

You say you get Maximum number of connected devices reached show up. May I ask if you've connected (or someone else maybe) to the hub on a different device, like another phone or tablet? I'm just wondering if you may have left the other device connected in admin mode which could possibly be taking a hold of one of your device slots.
Just a thought.
