I have just come a clip on plastic rain hood for a C500 camera.  Has anyone used one of these and are they beneficial.

Hi,
The Tapo C500 is protected against water and dust with an IP65 weatherproof rating. Usually, it works fine outdoors after proper installation (see the Tapo C500 V2's installation guide).

Yes, I realise the specifications are good from a water point of view but I was wondering if any forum member had used one, and how they found it.
