Just to clarify, the Tapo P100 doesn't support the energy monitoring feature, this feature is available on the Tapo P110. This suggestion has been raised by other users and here is the feature request post for it, Automation with energy consumption. You can vote for this thread and join the discussion.

 

Our product team will review the feature requests regularly, hot topics with detailed background information (e.g., use scenarios, reasons why you want or don't want a particular feature, etc) will be prioritized for evaluation.

Of course a P100 won't work with this, my mistake. I've got two P110 an want to have a power consume related trigger: Turn p110#2 on when p110#1 consumption above 500Watts, and turn p110#2 off when p110 consumption falls below 400 Watts. What is so difficult about programming this feature? So many people want it... TP-Link is starting to disappoint me.
