TL-MR6400(APAC) v5.30.    I had old software on my PC. I downloaded the new software from the TP-Link website. I installed it via the web interface. Then it gave a "SIM card not found" error. The SIM card is no longer being read. The ISP is gone. I want to revert to the old version, but it keeps giving me an error. It constantly gives "error:1" and freezes. We need to find a solution to this.

Hi, welcome to the community.

May I know how long you've had the router?

Is the original firmware before upgrade 1.6.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 230418 Rel.34085n?

Have you tried to hardware reset the MR6400 by holding the reset pinhole/button until all lights turn on, then off once?

It would also be very helpful if you could test the router with another SIM card to see if the error " SIM card not found "repeats again.

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

@David-TP Hi friend. Yes, I've tried everything, but the situation is the same. The original software is 1.4.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 220506 Rel.57555n. After installing the new update, the SIM card stopped working, and the problems I mentioned above occurred. As far as I know, you have a beta version that fixes this router. I looked at your old messages, and you helped someone who encountered the same problem. My router is a TP-Link TP-MR6400 APAC v5.30. I would be very grateful if you could help me.

Hi, Thanks for the update.

TL-MR6400(APAC) 5.30 also has 1.4.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 220506 Rel.57555n version. You can find the beta download link in the private message, but I'm not quite certain the beta would help.

If it didn't, I'm afraid you might need to contact the local technical support to check for warranty service.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
