With my C520WS the video streaming service (for the app) is crashing independently of everything else. It still records continuously to my NAS without interruption and settings are still available for the camera via the app, but no video streaming service. I have to reboot the camera through the app to restore the video stream. Troubleshooting applied so far has been:

*Factory reset

*Clean setup

*Daily scheduled 3am automatic reboot 

*Tried lowering video stream to both 1080P and 720P 
*Confirmed cloud control still works 

 

Despite all the above the app video stream dies.

If the problem remains, please confirm the following information.
  1. Please list the troubleshooting you did and the results.
  2. Do you watch the camera's live feed locally or remotely?
  3. Can you send us a video showing the reported issue?

  4. The phone model, OS version and the APP version.

*Tried to turn on compatible mode - unable to locate feature 

*Tried to check RSSI signal level - unable to locate feature 

 

I watch the camera feed both locally and remotely and it is failing in both settings. It is one of five Tapo security cameras  plus one Tapo doorbell that I have and I do not experience the same issue with any of the others (live feed remains available locally and remotely).

 

Phone is iPhone 17 Pro, OS 26.4.2, app version is 3.18.502. Firmware version is 1.3.4 Build 250811 Ref:34127n
