I originally purchased my Cw520s camera about a year ago.  At that time I was able to successfully configure the camera.  Yesterday, the camera went off line and I was not able to connect to it.  So, I reset the camera and again tried to reconfire the camera.  I could NOT recofigure the camera.  I tried several times tring to reconfigure the camera using several different devices such as my iPhone and several different tablets.  Before each attempt, I turned bluetooth off and back on and I reset  the camera and then tried to reconfigure the camera.  I also tried connecting to the camera using etherenet or wireless.  Absolutely none of the  of the attempts  to find the camera and reconfigure it were successful.  Every attempt indicated that the camera could NOT be found.

 

Any suggestions to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

I've tried to reconfigure the camera multiple times and was not successful.  I will contact the customer service team.

Hi Bob,

To help the support team analyze the issue more effectively, we kindly suggest trying to reproduce the setup failure once more on your phone, and then collect the Tapo app logs and send them to support for further investigation.
You can follow the instructions in the link below to get the APP log: How to get the log of Tapo app

 

Please note that since the device has not been successfully configured, some of the log‑collection steps are slightly different.

1.Launch the Tapo app and log in. Go to Me > Support Center. The Me button is located either in the top left corner of the app.

2.Choose Tapo C520WS,then please click " Skip" to next step.

3.Select any FAQ, slide to the bottom of the FAQ, and select Contact Technical Support, then select Email Support.

4. Select the corresponding issue type and fill in the rest of the information. Then check Add App Logs, then tap Submit.
