I reset my doorbell as it was not picking up motion. when trying to reconnect it. there is no led light and when holidng the sync/reset button it sometimes says 'doorbell on' but often will just bleep but still no lights and not connecting to the app.

Make sure your doorbell is fully charged. When the doorbell starts charging, its LED will flash orange rapidly for about 3 seconds. Please confirm you’ve seen this, and then let it charge for at least 5-6 hours.

 

To turn on or off the doorbell, press and hold the SYNC/RESET button for 3 seconds.

 

If you need to reset the doorbell, hold down the SYNC/RESET button for 5 seconds, the doorbell should blink red quickly while resetting. If the doorbell is unresponsive, try deactivating the anti-theft alarm as a precaution. Because if the anti-theft alarm is active, the doorbell cannot be factory reset until the alarm is disarmed. How to pause/stop the Anti-theft Alarm of your Tapo Doorbell

Note: Resetting the doorbell will erase all your doorbell settings and local videos. Make sure you've backed up all the important contents before attempting a reset.
