So, when is geofencing coming to Tapo app (IOS)? As of 2024-05-15 there is no sign of it.
I think i've just received it! (this IF conditions is new, isnt it?)
What is the app version where you are seeing this?
This was also available in an older beta version
At Last!!! For those waiting for the previous Beta functions to return, it appears they are avaialable in the latest Beta version released recently (3.3.513 for Android - I have a Samsung phone). The App store update says "Do not update on your phone" but it works fine and the Beta functions, i.e. if conditions are available and the previous Beta automations can be edited.
Note however the Tablet version does not include the previous Beta functionality.
Thx to PeterKarch for his short update in this chat... I just thought I would make it clear given subsequent posts.
Update: The release of the Smart Action 2.0 has begun! The feature will be released (visible) gradually to all users automatically through cloud updates.
And it seems some of you have already received the update, let's check your App and see if there are any surprises!
Note: Smart Action 2.0 requires Tapo App on 3.3.1xx and above version.
On iPhone, update is available (done now manually from App Store) to V3.3.507. This version includes "if" statement.
iPhone Tapo v3.3.507 No option available for persistent notification under IF option. Only platform notification is available which is no good for a home automation platform with security features.
@Wayne-TP There are numerous feature requests for an option for persistent notifications. Is this on the cards in an upcoming release of Smart Actions?

I have version 3.100.527 from 14.5.24, IF is present.
The This is the best update ever!
The geo-fencing works really well. The motion detector took the next step forward. The automations are so powerful that it takes a while to try out the new features. The tablet version looks so much better, more professional.

There is no such option as "send notification to device" in "actions"?
A simple option that sends a notification to the phone when a given condition is met, e.g. the temperature sensor registered a temperature higher than 40 degrees?
