C200 No Motion Detection since update to s/w version 1.0.17

Since updating the firmware for my two Tapo C200 V1 cameras to version 1.0.17 the Motion Detection has stopped working. They no longer record or alert when there is motion. They both used to work perfectly with the previous version of the firmware. This issue correlates directly with the firmware upgrade.

I was able to manually record.
My smartphone is a One Plus 7 Pro with Android 10
I am using Tapo version 2.2.39
I have now got it working. What I have noticed today, that I didn't see before, is that the "Away Detection Mode" has Motion Detection = On but Notifications = Off. That is different to how I had it set on the earlier versions. So I set Notifications = On + Always for "Away Detection Mode" and it is now successfully recording video clips when there is motion in the area.
Perhaps the Notifications setting was changed by default in the software release? I don't know. It is not a setting I changed since the first installation in 2020.

Hi, thanks for your feedback.
Did the manual recording on the APP still work properly?
Have you tried to reset the camera once and re-configure the motion detection settings, such as detection zone, sensitivity level again to have a look?
By the way, what is the model number and operating of your smartphone?
