Hi,

 

I have purchased a TP Link Smart wifi plug slim on 20.2.21

Model Number KP105(AU)

i do not know the hardware or firmware versions

When I follow the KASA to connect, if finds the plug, says connection successful, then it says “Something went wrong. Unable to select device”

 

I am not sure where I am going wrong??

Hi, it looks like cell phone has disconnected from smart Plug Wi-Fi at that time.

When the Error occurs, please go to Wi-Fi Settings and make sure your cell phone is still connected to “TPLINK_ Smart Plug_XX“ Wi-Fi

If you have any VPN settings, Lookout or AdGuard app on cell phone, please turn them off.  If same Error occurs, may I know the model & Android/ IOS version of your phone, please share a photo to us of the Error show up again thanks!
