The Camera Alarm and speaker sound are fixed and the Alarm sound can go up to around 60dB-65dB within 1 meter of camera.

You may test the sound or if you have two tapo camera, try to compare if the Alarm sound are of the same level on the cameras, if both cameras has similar sound, then the camera itself is fine.
