Hello,

I installed TP-Link Tapo C310 camera, and it is working fine, however, when looking at my Firewall logs I noticed that my camera is continuously trying to connect Amazon EC2 instances in different US regions, but this communication is being blocked by my firewall. The log file is full of sequences like this:

Sessions from the TP-Link cam to Amazon (traffic goes through the Firewall to Amazon):

LANip.address:19381 -> 54.228.218.124:3478

LANip.address:19382 -> 54.48.246.100:3478
LANip.address:19381 -> 54.48.246.100:3478

I'm wondering what is that about, since everythig seems to be working even with this blocked traffic. Also, in case this traffic is required, what would be the network requirements to be implemented?

Any idea from anyone?
